• Colonel Grant Newsham and I talked about the state of the threat we face from the Chinese Communist Party. The extent to which the Biden team has greatly intensified that threat by facilitating our underwriting of it, a suicidal activity, if ever there were one, and cumulative effects of the five to six trillion dollars we’ve sent to China on the one hand and the inadequate attention to our own military capabilities for much of the past couple of decades and where that leaves us with respect to the possibility of a shooting war with the CCP.

• Bill Walton and I discussed the pardon that Joe Biden gave his son. There are some exciting twists to that, including the prospect that Biden will give himself a pardon before all of this is over. We also discussed the bricks threat that Donald Trump has levied and what might come. As well as whether the nomination of Kash Patel to become the FBI director will succeed, perhaps through a recess appointment, and what he will do to the FBI and restore it to its original and necessary purpose.
