Secure Freedom Minute: Deter the Chinese Communist Party Now!

The one national security policy that has proven effective in deterring conflict is what Ronald Reagan famously called “Peace through Strength.” At a moment when Communist China seems increasingly determined to attack a nearby outpost of the Free World, Taiwan, the need for an immediate American return to that time-tested deterrent strategy is palpable.

That is especially so in light of what the Biden administration has been doing that’s equally clearly having the opposite effect. The Chinese Communist Party has been emboldened by: the President’s humiliating defeat in Afghanistan; his Marxist revolutionary wrecking-operation against our military and society; and its deep compromise of Joe Biden and many of his subordinates.
