Secure Freedom Minute: Congress Must Defund the WHO, Not Surrender our Freedoms to It

This week, the House and Senate are supposed to fund the last few government agencies still awaiting appropriations for a fiscal year that is now half-over. If recent practice is any guide, at the Senate’s insistence, the House will concede key priorities. 

Take funding for foreign operations. The Senate reportedly is insisting on rescinding a House measure to defund the World Health Organization. 

Underwriting the WHO will support Team Biden’s impending, stealthy efforts to surrender American sovereignty to that organization’s unaccountable and malfeasant Marxist Director-General. As we saw in the COVID pandemic, when the WHO could only give us advice, your medical freedom can be snuffed by Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus. That will be surely happen if he is granted the authority to dictate our public health policy.
