Secure Freedom Minute: Biden’s Subversive Cease-fire in Gaza

Why did Israel agree to suspend its military operations against Hamas? The obvious reason is that the jihadists’ strategy of taking hostages paid off once again in offsetting the vastly superior firepower of the Jewish State. 

Domestic pressure from hostage families, combined with escalating international demonstrations and demands had the predictable – and intended – effect.

The role of the Biden administration was probably decisive, however. Despite its repeated professions of support for Israel’s right to self-defense, almost from the get-go, Team Biden has undermined the Netanyahu coalition government via emergency “humanitarian” aid to the Palestinians, untold billions to their sponsors in Iran and collaboration with Hamas’ allies in Qatar. Unannounced threats to constrict vital U.S. weapons resupplies to Israel may have proven determinative.

The question is: Will such subversive actions not only extend the cease-fire, but disastrously contribute to Israel’s defeat?
