Secure Freedom Minute: With Treacherous Transition

Two days after Donald Trump’s landslide 2024 electoral victory, outgoing President Joe Biden announced, “I direct my entire administration to work with his team to ensure a peaceful
and orderly transition.” This appeared to track with Biden’s oft- asserted commitment to “democracy.”

Unfortunately, what has happened since suggests that the Biden team has actually been using this lengthy transition period to lock in agendas, policies and priorities it has pursued over the
past four years – but that were rejected by a majority of voters in this fall’s elections.
