Secure Freedom Minute: Remove the Marxists, Rebuild the Military

Alabama Senator Tommy Tuberville is best known for his years as a successful football coach. Today, he’s running what may be the most important defensive play of his career.

Coach Tuberville is blocking Senate approval of promotions of hundreds of military personnel over the Biden administration’s politicization of our armed forces. Sparked by its federal funding for abortions, his “hold” is now addressing as well the longstanding Obama-Biden agenda of effecting a cultural Marxist “transformation” of the military.

Consequently, the Senate has a chance to consider whether a general who champions that toxic agenda should become the nation’s top officer. “Coach’s” efforts have just been endorsed by presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, the latest in a growing number opposed to General C.Q. Brown’s nomination to become the next Joint Chiefs Chairman – a stance everyone else in the field and the Senate should support.
